Kindness Travels
International Children's Art Project
Small Cards. Big Messages. Global Impact.
KINDNESS TRAVELS is an international children’s art project developed in collaboration with Arts and Business College of London, bringing children from around the world together through creativity, kindness and encouragement.
Children from different countries are invited to create original A6 postcards featuring their own artwork and a short, positive message of encouragement.
The postcards will be collected to create a large-scale international art mosaic, bringing together thousands of individual artworks into one powerful image symbolising kindness, unity and hope.
From a distance, the mosaic will appear as one complete artwork. Up close, viewers will discover the unique drawings and heartfelt messages created by children from different cultures and backgrounds.
Our Mission
KINDNESS TRAVELS aims to:
- Encourage children’s creativity, confidence and self-expression.
- Promote kindness, empathy and emotional well-being.
- Connect children across countries, cultures and languages.
- Show young people that their creativity and words can make a positive difference.
A Global Mosaic of Kindness
The project is being developed in collaboration with Arts and Business College of London and mosaic artist Helen Marshall of The People’s Picture, known for creating large-scale artworks from thousands of individual images.
Our vision is to display the completed mosaic in a prominent public space, with the location to be confirmed, allowing children’s messages of kindness and encouragement to inspire people from around the world.
A Book of Kindness from Around the World
In addition to the international art mosaic, a selection of postcards from each participating country will be chosen to feature in a special Kindness Travels book.
The book will bring together children’s original artwork and heartfelt messages of encouragement, celebrating the creativity, kindness and diverse perspectives of young people from around the world.
It will serve as a lasting keepsake of the project, capturing the voices of children across different countries and cultures, and sharing their messages of hope, friendship and positivity with a wider audience.
