College Principal: Prof. Paul Bhangal
Paul Bhangal is an experienced business professional with over 25 years senior management experience working with new start-ups to multinationals including Mercedes Benz, Daewoo, Lexus, handling annual turnover in excess of £100m. He has an Executive MBA and has delivered some high level Sales & Marketing consultancy projects in the UK, Middle East and China.
Paul spends part of his time in academia and has provided teaching and workshops at a number of leading universities including Warwick, Oxford, Insead, Cambridge to name a few. The majority of these have been students completing their Master’s in Business or Entrepreneurship. He is an experienced academic and his doctoral research is in the field of International Entrepreneurship. He is a member of several business / investment organisations in the UK and regularly meets many International VIP’s, political leaders, Entrepreneurs and attend events such as the G20 World Leaders Summit.
Xiaowen / Photography and Filming / Head of Digital Media Studies
Xiaowen is a documentary filmmaker, media artist, educator and writer. Her work has been widely shown in over 100 international film festivals, high-profile art museums and galleries, including Toronto International Film Festival, DOK Munich, Athens, Chicago, Berlin, Chinese Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum and more. She gained her first receipt of the TASML Artist Residency Award and Marylyn Ginsburg Klaus Post-MFA Fellowship. Xiaowen was formerly a Visiting Professor of Media Art at Syracuse University and Marymount College in the USA. She has given numerous talks as visiting artist at Rhode Island School of Design, New York University, University of Westminster, Fudan University, Tsinghua University, Lund University, amongst many other prestigious institutions.
Currently, she is a mentor of the British Film Institute’s Film Academy and a member of the Los Angeles Art Association. Xiaowen received her Masters in Art Video from Syracuse University, USA and BA in Film, TV Production & Media Art from Tongji University, China.
Dr. Sue / Digital Media
Sue obtained a Masters Degree in Design and Digital Media at Coventry University followed by a PhD Degree. During her PhD research she took part-time teaching work with BA students in the School of Art & Design and provided tutorial support for MA students in the area of Digital Media and Design research methods. Post PhD, she continued to provide training as part of her role as Media Producer for a London based TV production company, delivering technical instruction within the production department.
Sue has assimilated a wealth of experience from working in the creative industry for more than 10 years. With considerable hands-on creative design skills, she has also delivered bespoke courses to senior marketing managers/directors at the UK corporations.
Satoshi / Creative Design
Satoshi has been teaching in several colleges and private classes for more than 10 years and has been a visiting lecturer in over 30 educational institutes. He is a graduate of Central Saint Martins College in womenswear, manages his own art and design label. He has worked overseas in many cities including London, Tokyo, Germany and Turkey. Satoshi has participated in the London Fashion Week, as well as the Ethical Fashion Show in Paris. Having experience in working in different cultures Satoshi appreciates the importance in education. Using his unique approach he is able to bring out the best in creative talent from his students.
Kay / Business & Marketing / Academic Director
Mr. Kay Bains began his career in higher education as an Associate Lecturer in the field of Marketing, Strategy & I.T in 2013. He has taught 11 postgraduate and 18 undergraduate modules to date including both post & undergrad dissertation supervisions and workshops to date at 7 HE institutions from Birkbeck, University of Arts of London, Nottingham, Coventry etc…. Prior to this, worked as a Strategic Analyst 3 years within the retail design sector (overseas), Business Analyst for 3 years for SME’s and Marketing Manager for 5 years within travel sector that has given him a wealth of experience and knowledge within the marketing research, strategic marketing, digital marketing and business development field. Kay is Chartered Marketer MCIM and Chartered Manager FCIM, Fellow of HEA and holder of MBA, MSc and BA Hons in Marketing, along with PgD in Finance & PgC in Computing for Business.
Felicia / Intl Marketing, PR, CRM.
Felicia has pursued an international career spanning over 18 years in branding which took her from her native Austria to France, the U.S. and eventually to China, where she spent 13 years before her recent relocation to London. Whilst in Beijing, Felicia founded her own boutique agency, China Creative Connections Inc. focusing on brand activation mainly via link-ups to the arts and entertainment.
Currently based in London, Felicia helps brands and companies understand the Chinese consumer through insight research and achieve effective business objectives through cross-cultural intelligence training. She counts EDF Energy, Renault-Nissan, Publicis Advertising AURA and the IPA (Institute of Practitioners for Advertising) amongst her clients.
Felicia is a graduate with Dean’s list merits, from Duke University in North Carolina, USA. Felicia then obtained her Master’s degree from Sciences Po, the prestigious Institute of Political Science in Paris and enjoys sharing her knowledge with students and professionals.
